Founder’s Message – Shieku Kabba

My name is Shieku Kabba, a retired Professional Basketball Player and Master Skill Developer with over twenty years of combined playing and coaching experience.

I am also the proud founder of “Cookies” Basketball Development Training, I began as an amateur in 2007, training alongside my son, Shiequel Kabba. After years of dedication and growth, I officially launched Cookies Basketball Development Training in 2013 — a program created to empower, train, and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.

Now retired from professional play, I dedicate my time to mentoring and training the next generation of athletes. My mission is to inspire hope, guide young players toward their dreams, and use the game of basketball as a tool to teach discipline, confidence, and leadership.

At Cookies, we believe every child has the potential to succeed if given the right guidance. Our program is designed not only to improve basketball skills, but to redirect lives, instill respect, and build champions — both on and off the court.

I look forward to continuing this journey, reaching more kids with a passion for the game, and empowering them to become the future leaders of tomorrow.
